Advice: London Irish Women's Centre offers culturally sensitive and gender specific Advice and Advocacy services to vulnerable and excluded women of Irish & Irish Traveller birth and descent throughout London. Our highly trained Advice Workers can help with a wide range of issues including Housing, Benefits and Tribunal Representation, for full details see the Advice Service
Counselling: As part of our commitment to providing an holistic service, LIWC offers both one-to-one Counselling and Group Therapy free of charge. Our therapists are experienced Irish women and the service is run in partnership with the Irish counselling organisation ICAP. For further information see Counselling
Information: LIWC stocks Irish Passport application forms and has a range of information leaflets including publications from Community Legal Services, NHS health & well-being, education providers and social / cultural events. We also have contact details for a wide range of other organisations and services; please phone or email and our staff are always happy to help.
Library & Internet: The library holds a collection of fiction, non-fiction, journals and videos - particularly Irish authors, women's studies and Irish history. Free internet access / wi-fi, low cost printing and space to study is available - please phone to book as access cannot always be guaranteed.
Room Hire: There are two small rooms and one medium sized room available to hire. These are suitable for complementary therapies and meetings (maximum 8 people).
