LIWC offers culturally sensitive and gender specific advice and advocacy services to vulnerable and excluded Irish women and women of Irish descent throughout London .

LIWC accepts self referrals as well as voluntary and statutory organisation referrals.

ts to Innisfree Housing Association, Cara Housing Association and Solais Anois (now Solace Women's Aid women's refuge).
 
Free advice and advocacy is provided on the following issues by fully qualified advice workers:


Housing
Homelessness, Housing Applications, Appeals, Transfer, Repairs, Rent Arrears, Eviction / Seeking possession orders, Anti-Social Behaviour and referrals.

Welfare Benefits
Applications, New Claims (all benefits including Housing and Council Tax Benefits), Social Fund, Disability Living Allowance and other Disability related Benefits.

Reviews
Disability Living Allowance  and all Department of Working Pensions Benefits, Reviews and Appeals.

Tribunal Representation
Disability Living Allowance, Pension service and other D.W.P Benefits.

General Issues
Debt, Family Issues, Employment, Pension, Tax Credits, Arriving from Ireland, Returning to Ireland and Charity grants.

We also provide advice and advocacy to women experiencing domestic violence and to women in prison.
