Advice service
   LIWC holds the CLS Quality Mark for advice and casework in Housing, Welfare benefits and Debt. Free advice and advocacy is provided by fully qualified advice workers on the following issues:  
 

Housing

Homelessness, Housing Applications, Appeals, Transfer, Site Allocation, Repairs, Rent Arrears, Eviction / Seeking possession orders and Anti-Social Behaviour. LIWC has referral rights to Innisfree Housing Association, Cara Housing Association and Solais Anois (now Solace Women's Aid women's refuge).  

Welfare Benefits

Applications, New Claims (all benefits including Housing and Council Tax Benefits), Social Fund, Disability Living Allowance and other Disability related Benefits. 

Reviews

 Disability Living Allowance and all Department of Work and Pensions Benefits, Reviews and Appeals.

Tribunal Representation

Disability Living Allowance, Pension service and other DWP benefits.

Debt

Bankruptcy, Debt Relief Order, Individual Voluntary Arrangements and Cash Flow.

General Issues

Family Issues, Employment, Pension, Tax Credits, Arriving from Ireland, Returning to Ireland and Charity grants.We also provide advice and advocacy to women experiencing domestic violence and to women in prison.
